Buying his first bass guitar at 18, he immediately started playing live at various venues across Memphis. Landon Moore has been performing and recording professionally in Memphis for the past 10 years. Then in 2018, he purchased the other local school, School of Rock Germantown. In 2012 he joined the School of Rock family and he was lucky enough to do it in the birthplace of rock n' roll, Memphis. As a father of three, Marc immediately understood the mission of School of Rock. However, the passion for music never faded, and School of Rock popped up on Marc's radar once he began to explore selling the golf business. He owned and operated a successful multi-unit golf retail business. Marc is a graduate of Memphis University School and went on to earn a BA in Business Management from Southern Methodist University. With DFL he recorded an album at Powerhouse Studios which went on to gain top rotation on rock radio, and he and DFL performed and shared the bill on a regular basis with powerhouse acts such as Saliva, King's X and Drivin N' Cryin to name a few. His career includes time as the frontman for the original line-up of alternative rock band Dust for Life. From there he went on to play drums, keys and sing lead vocals with multiple rock bands. The only problem was he had never even held drumsticks in his hands! He pulled it off on sheer will and was hooked for life. Rebecca is a dynamic and masterful teacher, capable of breaking down complex concepts into easily digestible nuggets of wisdom.Ĭhorus Studio was formed out of Rebecca’s desire to create a community where singers of all levels would feel empowered to be creative, soulful and free to express themselves within an inclusive environment. Her training began with Speech Level Singing: a vocal method founded by Maestro Seth Riggs, legendary vocal coach to Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. A professional vocalist and vocal coach since 2006, Rebecca has performed on stage in Vancouver, Canada and across Europe. Rebecca is the co-founder and creative director of Chorus Studio.
